Whitmans feed company invited DFWT to participate in their producer meeting on April 1, 2010 in Greenwich New York at the Elks Club. Dairy farmers in the audience asked questions about managing supply and how long it would take to get legislation enacted. Farmers in the audience were charged with making contact with their delegation in Washington D.C. and educating neighbors and other industry folks about how important new legislation will be for the future of family farms and the farming infrastructure. We are greatful to Art Whitman and his wife for inviting us down to speak with the dairymen and discuss our progress on this important topic.
